I have mixed feelings about our experience. The positives: The people working there and serving were so nice and inviting. The atmosphere was nice and dimmed. Noise was moderate so it was easy to have a conversation. It was not packed on a Saturday evening around 7pm. The cheese was delicious! The portobello ravioli and salad was great! My friend said his cocktail was good. We were given a discount without asking for it due to some complications. Negatives: Very understaffed, especially for a Saturday night. 20 minute wait for a table, although the majority of the tables were available. We chose to sit at the bar and were the only people at the bar. Service was very slow and our drinks went empty for a long time. The price is way high for some raw veggies and pieces of bread. So you're essentially just paying a bunch for the cheese because most places, raw veggies and pieces of bread are complimentary with a meal. Salmon had zero seasoning and the chicken and steak were way over seasoned. At one point we noticed our little grill wasn't cooking our food. Yes, you have to cook your own food. Went here to celebrate our 29yrs anniversary They decorated the table in advance and the manager greeted us and they sat us in a very discreet area with no one else around. Hanna was our server and she did a amazing job and was very considerate of my wife’s food allegories. It’s was a amazing experience because of Hanna’s knowledge and timing of our food.

I haven’t been here for lunch or dinner but I love going here for their happy hour with friends and family as it is 1/2 off cheese and chocolate fondue. Service at the bar is great and I highly recommend checking out the Melting Pot in Downtown St Petersburg. There’s paid street parking available.

We went here for my brother and sister-in-laws rehearsal dinner for their wedding and this did not disappoint! James was honestly the BEST waiter I have ever had ANYWHERE! He kept us laughing the entire night, and when he found out I was a little bummed I couldn’t have a drink due to some new medicine causing an issue with a lot of alcoholic drink flavors, he went and found something that I could drink and tasted good! I’m sad we don’t live in the area to return to this specific location again just because James was so much fun for everyone AND the food was delicious! Thank you to everyone for making the night so wonderful for our family!

If I could give 20 stars based on service I would. Brian was so real, knowledgeable, attentive, and kind. My husband and I visit The Melting Pot once a year, last year in Tampa and this year at this location. We went the day after Valentine’s Day to celebrate. We parked a couple of blocks away on the street because we wanted to walk around the area before eating, and then were seated quickly after arriving (I will note we made a reservation online ahead of time). Our table was set beautifully, the tall booths made the seating feel intimate and the benches are long enough to sit next to each other if you’d like. Our drinks were great and came out in a timely manner, every course was delicious, and the restaurants ambiance and vibe was fantastic. We will definitely be back and can’t wait to see more of St. Pete. Thank you again, Brian!
